| Supurb heavy duty continuously rated DC servo motor, typically used for all types of traction / CNC drive applications. Motor will run down to 24V DC but is designed to run at 100/110 Volts. Fully reversible. Size 134mm dia x 263mm long. Fully enclosed construction with front mounting flange 139mm square x 12mm thick with a 10.3mm dia fixing hole in each corner on approx 110mm square. Front and rear drive shafts - Front, 15.9mm dia x 52mm long with no flats but fitted with a 44mm dia bush held on with a roll-pin. Rear, 40 mm long x 13 mm diameter with threaded section at end. The rear motor flange plate also has 6 equally spaced tapped holes for tacho or shaft encoder mounting. Internally, motor features 4 brushes to the commutator for high current transfer / torque loading etc. Continuously rated and designed to output 450rpm when loaded to 2.125 lbs/ft at 2.5A. Although made some time ago, these motors are new and a fine example of quality British engineering. Additional test figures at zero load are as follows:-. Voltage DC 110 48 24 Speed rpm 3050 1485 700 No load current 350mA 355mA 370mA Stall current - 3.5A 1.7A Connections via 140mm long flying leads as follows:- Green= earth. Black= 0V Blue = +V forward rotation. White= +V reverse rotation. Alternatively, The forward and reverse connections may be linked with two diodes (use devices capable of withstanding motor LOADED voltage & current) to give effective 2 wire forward & reverse operation from DC servo amps such as Rutex & Ghekko etc. Although guaranteed, unit may have slight cosmetic marking. | |
