| Visible red, 670nm laser diode assembly. Unit runs from 5VDC at approx 120mA. Although we do not have the makers specification, our boffins conclude the output to be less then 5mW, probably something in the region of 1.5mW. Orginally made for continuous use in industrial barcode scanners, the laser is mounted in a removable solid aluminium block, which functions as a heatsink and rigid optical mount. Dimensions of block are w50 x d50 x h15mm. Integral features include over temperature shutdown, current control, laser OK ouput and gated TTL ON/OFF.
