| Compact PCB unit containing state of the art ALPS tuner and NICAM stereo decoder modules type TCDB7-201A/7BE1H973A, TCMB7-001A/TAWS1-001/7BE1H918A, TAPZ1-031A/7BE1N049A. Unit provides composite video output into 75 ohms plus mono audio, and stereo audio outputs when a NICAM signal is detected. These outputs, can be directly connected to a host of items including Hi-Fi's, audio systems, composite video monitors, video recorders, etc. The aerial input is via a standard 75 ohm TV type socket and includes a loop through connector for simple in line aerial connection to existing installations. Supplied with the main module is a small 'paddle' board which allows connection to various outputs including data connection to an IBM PC compatible printer / parallel port. A simple DOS BASIC program is supplied which enables full remote tuning of standard PAL I UK TV channels 21 to 69, via direct input of channel number or frequency. Unit requires regulated DC voltage of 12V at 240 mA, and 5v at 650 mA. Overall size approx 76mm wide x 55mm high x 180mm long.
