| Ex UK Railway very large format DOUBLE SIDED digital clocks, built to exacting standards and the need to be ultra reliable. Units consist of a heavy duty weather protected steel casing containing all electronics and mains 240VAC power supply to drive the 12 (6 per side) flap indicators. The very large size and colour of the flap indicators make the digits extremely readable, even over long distances. The integral fluorescent light tubes illuminate the digits for night viewing. The clock is driven via a 20Ma two wire current loop connection, which enables, if required, many clocks to be driven off a single interface. The serial data format allows the clock to be controlled to the second, therefore providing an HH:MM:SS time display. For ease of use, the clock is supplied with a simple RS232 to current loop converter and functioning software (written in BASIC) enabling clocks to run from an IBM compatible PC or laptop computer. The full source code of the program is supplied, which allows modification for users individual needs. There is a limited quantity available. External case dimensions: width 1550mm x height 482mm x depth 272mm. All units are tested prior dispatch, but may require cosmetic attention to the external paintwork. Note; weight is approx 58 Kg.
